Brač towns
The town of Bol is a favourite with tourists because of its amazing Zlatni Rat beach. It’s an ever-changing beach peninsula jutting 400m into the sea and great for swimming, sunbathing and wind surfing. Bol itself is a cute harbour town with a 15th century palace and a 17th century fortress, overlooked by the 778m Vidova Gora mountain. It has a good range of restaurants and bars. Milna is a quiet fishing village with a lovely marina. It also has some nice pebbly beaches. The biggest town on Brač is Supertar, the main port entry where ferries arrive or yachts can dock and has medieval streets and a harbourside promenade.
